field trip : Low voltage electriexpo
Department of physics has organized a field trip for B.Sc III year (MPC,MPCs) students accompanied by Mrs. Shireen,Ms.B. Srilatha and Ms. Afreen Sultana on 06.01.2017 to low voltage electriexpo, Hitec ground, Hitec city, Hyderabad. The exhibition was organized by Hyderabad international trade expositions limited dedicated to low voltage electricity devices. In keeping the energy needs of our times, the event was brought under one roof, the latest energy efficient, environment friendly and sustainable devices. Students have seen the various electrical devices which are used in our day to day life and how these devices can be used to conserve energy. Considering how a mere estimate of power consumption differed vastly in few years, it may be concluded that statistics remain a guiding force to a future where human behavior will continue to be unpredictable. In reality, we have no idea of the latest inventions and ideologies of future and how they will change our lives….We hope to conduct such trips for the students in future to enhance their theoretical and practical skills by attending such events.

What is a Eco Club?
It is a voluntary group which promotes the participation of students in learning about, and improving their environment.
People today, especially the young people, are concerned about the environment. A Eco Club is a means by which students and youth can organize themselves to learn more about this issue, and also take action to improve their immediate environment.
For teachers, it is a wonderful opportunity to create awareness, build attitudes and help students take up activities in real world, in a way in which the constraints of the classroom and curriculum will not allow.
A Eco Club can thus help to extend the boundaries and scope of the formal educational system, encouraging creativity, and empowering students for constructive action.
Eco club activities can help the teacher to meet the objectives of Environmental Education, which are to:
Any group of concerned people can start a Eco Club which gets involved in improving the environment. Clubs can be set up by groups of students within a college or college, by a group in a neighbourhood, or a section within some other social organization.
A comfortable number seems to be 25-35. This number is both large enough for taking up and doing projects which can have a visible impact, and small enough to be manageable.
Teachers often mention that they if they register 40-45 students at the beginning of the year, they may be left 25-30 who are really interested.
The Eco-club guidelines drawn up by the Ministry of Environment and Forests require at least 20 students to be members before a Club can be registered.
Students will gain a special identity if their Club too has an identity. First, of course, the Club must have a name. This name could be selected by the students themselves at the first meeting.
It would also be nice if the Club could have a logo or symbol. This symbol can appear on all Club related items – e.g. dustbins made by Club members and put up in the college; pamphlets they distribute; the bulletin board allotted to them.
This way, other students, teachers, etc., immediately know that a particular activity has been undertaken by the Club.
They could also have a badge/belt/arm band, etc., which they could wear to college (everyday if permitted, or on the Club Meeting Days).
The Club could also have a pledge that all members have to solemnly take and adhere by. The pledge could be developed by the teacher-in-charge along with the members. Rather than being stated in general terms, like a pledge to ‘save the environment’, it would be useful to include in the pledge issues that concern the life and immediate environment of the child, and actions that are actually achievable.
It is most important to let the rest of the college activities. This will not only make the Club members feel important, and more responsible for their actions, it could also motivate other classes to take up similar activities or join/form Clubs.
One way to do this for the Club to have a space (notice board/blackboard), etc., at a place where the whole college can see it. On this, they can put up reports of activities, photographs, interesting news items, etc. Club members could use the Bulletin Board to run competitions, quizzes, etc., for the other students.
With the Principal’s permission, the Club representatives could report on the activities or present something in the assembly. Putting up an annual exhibition to which all are invited is also a good way of making the Club’s presence felt. Campus, treks, etc. could be more open for the other students also.
The activities under the scheme include:

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY (21-06-2017)
Internationally, the Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st of June. The Hindi Club of our college celebrated Yoga Day on 21st June with grandeur.Yoga is an ancient practice originated from India. This practice is 5,000 years old which heals your mind, body and soul. We can say that yoga reforms our thoughts to enable us in pursuing a great lifestyle. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself.Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action, restraint and well-being.
It is said that if we begin our day with pranayama, it helps us to think better and stay calm and peaceful. Sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy diet and stress – all these lead to various diseases. Yoga teaches us to control these thoughts through exercise.
The Yoga Day in our college started with the meditation of “AUM”. it was then proceeded by the speech given by our Hindi professor Dr. P. Vidya Reddy on the importance of yoga and its benefits. Through this she conveyed why we should practice yoga on a regular basis.
After that yoga experts took the platform to teach yoga and it was done by the students and teachers. The programme ended with the meditation of “AUM”.
THE WAY OF MY TEACHING:-
First I explain the summary of lesson by giving different examples related to practical world. Then I read the chapters and explain clearly, simultaneously I show the video or movie of the chapter. While the movie is on, I pause on the important scene and explain it clearly.so,it becomes easy for the students to understand and remember the story. After the movie ends I discuss the question and answer in class with important points in class.
After the chapter ends I ask the students to write summary on the lesson. The students who are below average will sit with student who are above average and discuss the lesson in their own language and help to understand.
Me and my students celebrate every festival by knowing their importance ask the students to say on the occasion, have traditional songs, dance, and skits on the occasion and the student who can’t speak individually speaks in the group by this way all the students participate in programmes.
Whenever I’m absent I allot some seniors to take class for junior students to explain them and clear their doubts from the lessons and guide them for exams. They take personal care for the below average students so, that they can improve and score well in semesters.
PREMCHAND DIWAS (31-07-2017)

RALLY FOR RIVERS:
The massive important step people have taken this year is rally for rivers. All the people were asked to give missed call to a particular number and bring awareness in people for saving rivers.
We all students of HINDI CLUB stopped the pedestrians going on road and requested them to give a missed call to that number .So that our future generation could get enough water .But as of now the way people are using water will surely occur for the shortage of water. All the rivers are being dry no water in the river. If this is done in this way not only our future generation even we will have shortage of water. So save rivers and save water for us.

ACTIVITY – 1 (04-10-2017)
The Hindi students of B.Com. 1st year had one of their Hindi classes taken by their seniors. The Hindi grammar was taught by Aneesha Srivastava, B.Sc. II year student and introduction of the writer was taught by Sara Fatima, also a B.Sc II year student. The first year students read turn by turn and the examples were explained. The students who learned Arabic upto their intermediate were made to read aloud. This learning was designed to help students achieve learning outcome and to improve the understanding of a topic.
There is no better motivator in this world than yourself. If you believe in yourself, God Himself will grant you what you wish for. There is nothing impossible in this world. You will never know if you won’t gather courage and try a little. You can’t fulfill some dreams if you will not dare dreaming them yourself! The fragrance of flowers spreads only where the winds carry them. But a human’s goodness spreads all around.
Realize your worth and believe in yourself. You will become a successful person. Never let the lamp of desire be put out.
Destinations test a human’s courage,
The curtains of dreams
Never lose courage in any circumstance,
Stumbling is what teaches a human to walk
Every dream of yours can come true, if you have the self-confidence.
